a Tree falls to the earth, with no one around,
no one exists, yet still there's a sound,
with a cry of agony, Earth and tree meet.
and to the Trees surpise he can feel the Earths beat.
suddnly with a rumble the Earth asks the Tree,
how can you cry when theres no one but me?
Tree said its simple, with a tear in his eye
if you listen close, you can hear the world die!
the Earth cried out in coherent fear
the cannot happen the end cant be near!
oh but it is Earth just ask the Sky
we've all came to terms but you are refusing to die
so the Earth called to the heavens with a bought of dread
how is it I cant feel I'll soon be dead?
its simple Sky twinkled back
your not dead, we are awaiting impact.
the impact of what cried the Earth with a start?
the Sky cried, with my stars to the center of your heart!
and so with a rip the Sky fell fast.
I cannot live like this, only known in the past.
so the Earth shot forth, in a flurry of stone,
to Earths surprise Sky was not easily thrown.
with a boom they collide, the Earth and the Sky,
and to boths amazement neither would die.
stuck between the mess both have made,
gravity is a reminder of the price that is paid.
when Earth and Sky refused to give in,
it seemed as though neither would win.
the battle slowes to a crawl,
as creatures appeared, both great and small.
a certin creature, called humans you see,
jump-start the battle, fueling the rivelry.
but one being came forth, lacking fear or rage,
to battle gravity, to release the Earth from its cage.
for the on who’s story this is to tell
is the poor little tree who so unlikely fell
he rose up from his ground-broken hell,
and was covered in ashes, cloked by the smell.
Trees mission was clear he must return their dance upon high,
the frail waltz named Earth, Tree, and Sky.
if he couldnt succeede, he'd just give up and die.

a god there must be! crys Tree as he races towards Earth,
Earth! tree cries please stop this battle,
the humans have done it, they are up their own creek with no paddle!
but the Earth doesn’t quit for stubborn is he,
he keeps holding on ignoring the Tree.
Tree decides to bid the stubborn Earth bye,
and flys up to talk with his old friend the Sky.
oh Sky stop the battle, if you hold anything dear,
its not our end but the humans thats near.
but Sky doesn’t give in for he hates to lose,
he says Tree i dont care what you say, i have no time for such news!
forces aside Tree calls to the human race,
make things that fly, he exclaims with a smirk on his face.
what is that voice the humans hear near,
oh it must be the creator, yes it must be our god dear!
we will build these machines and fly to the Stars!
we will tame the Earth, and all will be ours!
Tree giggles softly, those humans are dumb,
they think i am god, they're under my thumb!
so as the Earth and the Sky hold onto their grudge,
the humans destroy, opinions refusing to budge.
until one day the humans built a flying machine so fast and fierce,
its speed ripped the Earth and in its enormaty the Sky, it was pierced.
Tree laughed ruefully, almost regretting the deed,
its the humans fault, he thought for confusing want and need.
so Tree went to work rebuilding all the that they knew,
holding to his promise, making it true.
when Tree returned to his place, and the dust finally cleared,
what remained was Earth, and the Sky drawing near.
